That had sucked, but at least it hadn't been on her. This? This is just as much her as it is him. What Elena said has been weighing on her though, the fact that he didn't know how to do this, how to be... Human. Her acting like he needs to leave her alone isn't going to make him reach out, and she knows it's time to swallow her pride and do it herself.
Just because he left her once doesn't need to mean he does it again. She doesn't want him to do it again. But he has to know that.
Laying in bed, she stares at her phone, typing and retyping different words that all mean the same thing.
